5. Photographs

Photographs you upload with a quote request are stored privately and are used only to assess the work. Photographs we take of completed jobs may be used on our website or social media. We do not publish your name or address alongside them, and you can ask us not to use images of your property at any time.

6. Sharing your information

We share personal information only where necessary: with our IT and website hosting providers, email provider, accountant and insurers, or where we are required to do so by law. Any supplier acting on our behalf is required to keep your information secure and use it only for the purpose we have specified.

7. How long we keep it

• Enquiries that do not lead to work: up to 12 months.
• Quotations and job records: 6 years, for tax, insurance and warranty purposes.
• Uploaded photographs: deleted with the associated enquiry or job record.

8. Security

Enquiry data is transmitted over an encrypted connection and stored in access-controlled systems. Uploaded photographs are held in private storage that is not publicly browsable. No system can be guaranteed completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

9. Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to access your information, have it corrected or erased, restrict or object to its use, request portability, and withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, email dandmroofingbuildinganddoors@gmail.com. We will respond within one month.
